When you’re hauling gear like kayaks, lumber, or camping setups, strength and stability matter most. These Heavy Duty crossbars are made of aluminum and can handle up to 220 lbs while keeping weight off your roof. The solid build holds steady on long drives and rough roads, giving you confidence that your load will stay put the whole way.
The square bars feature top channels that let you mount Rhino-Rack contractor-grade gear like ladder rollers, load stops, eyebolts, and more. The fit is tight, the setup is straightforward, and once it’s on, it’s ready for both jobsite equipment and outdoor adventures. The channels make it easy to slide hardware into place without tools or extra brackets.
The built-in rubber strips inside the top channels help cushion your gear and keep it from sliding during travel. They add a layer of slip resistance that protects both the cargo and the bars. Whether you’re strapping down a kayak or securing a ladder, that extra grip keeps things steady from start to finish.
Each set includes (4) 2500 Series legs with lockable cover plates that secure the rack to your vehicle. Once installed with the custom fit kit, the setup stays firmly in place until you remove it yourself. It’s a sturdy connection that helps prevent tampering and gives peace of mind when the rack is loaded up at camp or parked at a trailhead.
The crossbars measure 54" long x 1-5/8" wide x 1-7/8" tall, with top channel dimensions of 1-3/8" wide x 5/8" tall x 13/16" opening. That consistent shape lets you know exactly what gear fits without guessing. It’s a straightforward heavy-duty system—two bars built to take real use, backed by a limited lifetime warranty on the crossbars, a 5-year limited warranty on the legs, and a limited lifetime warranty on the fit kit.
